Folklore, Magic and Mysteries: Modern Witchcraft and Folk Culture in Britain

Complementing the artefacts at the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle, Cornwall, is a collection held by the Doreen Valiente Foundation which was put on show to the public for the first time this year (2016). Doreen Valiente, who died in 1999, is best known for being co-author of the Gardnerian Book of Shadows, and for writing a number of other influential accounts of modern witchcraft.
