Nnidnid 2&3, a limited edition surrealist 'cassette object' conceived by artist/writer/magician Tony 'Doc' Shiels, includes music performed by 'Hen's Teeth' and a selection of surrealist writings performed by Shiels himself. It was completed and released in 1987, at around the same time that he wrote 'Monstrum', a book which describes his extraordinary monster-raising experiments, and their relationship to Max Ernst and Loplop. Co-creator of the 'bizarre magic genre' and resident in Cornwall at the time, Shiels had, by this time, become known as the 'Wizard of the Western World'.
